When should I book my senior pictures?
Senior photo sessions should be booked as early as possible, ideally during late junior year or early senior year. Fall is the most popular season for senior portraits, and dates with a senior photographer always fill quickly.
Do you offer senior portrait sessions year-round?
Yes. I offer senior portrait sessions throughout the year. Each season provides a different look and feel with summer and fall being the most popular.
After I confirm my date, how do I book a session?
Head to the home page of this site and click the big blue 'Book a Session' button. Follow the prompts, put in your payment method and you'll be booked!
How long does a senior portrait session last?
Most senior photography sessions last 1–2 hours, allowing time for outfit changes, multiple locations, and a relaxed, comfortable experience.
I’ve never had professional photos taken — will you help me pose?
Absolutely. You don’t need modeling experience. I guide every senior through natural posing and movement so your senior pictures look confident, authentic, and effortless.
Can parents or friends attend the session?
Yes. Parents, siblings, or friends are welcome to attend senior photo sessions and often help seniors feel more comfortable in front of the camera.
Can we do some family pics during the session?
Yes. Many parents like to tag on a few family pics before or after their senior's session. Please understand that this will take time from the senior session and we may need to add on time at additional cost.
What should I wear for my senior photos?
Choose outfits that feel like you. Neutral tones, clean lines, and well-fitted clothing photograph best. I recommend a combination of casual and dressy outfits to create variety in your senior portraits.
How many outfits should I bring to my senior session?
Most seniors bring 2–3 outfits. This provides variety without making the session feel rushed.
Do you help with outfit planning?
Yes. Styling guidance is included with every senior photography session to ensure your outfits complement your location, lighting, and personal style.
Where do senior portrait sessions take place?
Senior photos are typically taken at outdoor or thoughtfully selected locations that match your style — natural, urban, or personal. Location recommendations are always provided and we will use your style to choose a locations together.
Can I bring props to my senior photo session?
Yes! Props such as sports equipment, instruments, pets, vehicles, or meaningful items are encouraged and help personalize your senior portraits.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of my senior session?
Weather is monitored closely. If conditions aren’t ideal for senior photography, your session will be rescheduled to ensure the best possible lighting and results.
When will I receive my senior portraits?
Your fully edited online gallery will be delivered within 1–2 weeks of your senior photo session. Sneak peeks may be shared earlier.
How will I receive my senior pictures?
Senior portraits are delivered through a private online proofing gallery where you can view your images. Once you choose your favorites, you'll receive a final gallery where you can download, and order professional prints and products.
How do I choose and send my favorite photo choices to you?

Is retouching included with senior photos?
Yes. All senior portraits receive professional color correction and light retouching to enhance images while maintaining a natural, authentic look.
Can I make my own prints using the digital files I receive?
Unfortunately, the final retouched digital files I will provide are suitable only for the web and are not suitable for printing.
Do you offer prints and wall art?
Yes. I offer high-quality prints, wall art, and keepsake products designed to preserve your senior pictures for years to come. You will be able to order these direct from your final gallery and of course I am always available to consult on products that fit your needs.
Can I purchase all of the proofs as digital images?
Yes. All of the proof images may be purchased as un-retouched digital files suitable for the web for one bulk price.
